Intergraph has released a solution to allow emergency services organizations to rapidly analyze and convert vast amounts of law enforcement records and data into actionable information for enhanced decision-making. This is all possible with the company’s new Business Intelligence for Public Safety solution suite.

 

Intergraph collaborated with Business Objects, a SAP (News - Alert) company, in response to the demand for improved data visibility and reporting. Working together, the companies combined the application specific data from Intergraph’s emergency incident response, planning and reporting solutions with Business Objects’ (News - Alert) proven Business Intelligence platform, BusinessObjects XI.

The Intergraph Business Intelligence for Public Safety suite is designed to enable a broad range of public safety users to rapidly access real-time operational data created by computer aided dispatch (CAD), records and other databases to gather further insights for investigations and planning, manage performance, generate reports and make information available in a secure environment to those who need it.

With this new functionality, emergency services organizations have the ability to more effectively prevent, prepare and respond to critical incidents by providing the visual information to make decisions, forecast likely occurrences and take immediate action to mitigate and hopefully eliminate threats.

This latest solution suite from Intergraph is comprised of several applications, including a Web report viewer which serves as the core Business Intelligence platform, a Web Intelligence tool to enable casual users to explore data interactively, and a report designer to allow users to design and deliver reports on paper.
