Zoho, a company that offers online collaborative productivity applications and business applications, has updated and released its Zoho CRM (Customer Relationship Management) with new enterprise-grade functionality that includes role-based, hierarchical security administration.
The new Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition is targeted to medium-size enterprises with complex organizational hierarchies.
Zoho CRM is a single, complete business solution that aims at empowering organizations with a much affordable and scalable relationship lifecycle management solution for effectively managing organization across Sales, Marketing, Customer Support & Service and Inventory Management.
The latest version of Zoho CRM joins Zoho Meeting, Zoho Projects, Zoho DB, Zoho People, and Zoho Invoice in the growing suite of Zoho business applications.
"The upgrades we've made to Zoho CRM have all been geared toward reinforcing its enterprise capabilities," said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist.
Vegesna added, "Along with robust, highly configurable security and other enterprise-grade features, we want to give all of our customers -- from one-person shops to small and medium businesses -- an affordable CRM solution."
The new updated Zoho CRM offers an Enterprise-grade Role-based security to control the access rights of users while working with CRM data and modules such as leads, accounts, contacts, potentials etc. It enables data sharing permissions for complex organizational hierarchy and maximum security for medium enterprises.
The role-based security includes profiles, roles, data sharing rules, field-level security, and groups.
Other new features and enhancements to Zoho CRM include Multi-language Support, data administration enhancements, SSL support and Zoho Sheet integration. This edition also provides auto-responders as part of drip marketing, enhanced data administration tools and 500 MB file storage.
The company has plans to soon make Zoho CRM available as part of its single sign-on, which gives access to multiple Zoho services.
Priced at $25 per user per month, the application is available for free to the first three users in an organization.
