Call Recording Week in Review: Cebod, MegaPath, CSI
Welcome to the latest version of Call Recording Week in Review where we highlight all the biggest headlines from this past week in the Call Recording space.
This week, Cebod Telecom announced it added SMS and Fax to its PBX offering.
This latest addition is on top of the 40+ offerings it provides for small businesses and enterprises.
Leveraging cloud technology, the company’s phone system offering makes it possible for organizations to configure their own communications system and have VoIP, fax, auto attendant, voicemail to email, call recording, call queue, call waiting, shared lines and more.
Also making headlines was Coordinated Systems, Inc. (CSI) which announced it had completed its compliance testing with Avaya IP Office.
The workforce optimization software developer offers products for UC systems for businesses as well as contact centers. With the Avaya interoperability, the company can now reach even more customers.
CSI Vice President of Product Development Dan McGrail, explained, “We analyzed where the market is headed and identified a trend of IP Office adoption. We’re giving the contact center space what they want – a fully capable and affordable enterprise workforce optimization solution which works in the mid-market and [small and medium-size business] centers as well.”
Also this week, MegaPath announced it won a 2016 Hosted VoIP Excellence Award from TMC.
The voice, data, security and cloud services provider was awarded specifically for its Hosted VoIP offering which has demonstrated innovation, unique features and noteworthy developments
Finally, one area that isn’t talked about too much is the marketing industry and how it can also leverage call recordings to assist with its needs.
