Across the wide spectrum of industry, one finds that call recording is slowly knitting itself into the fabric of business, which by the way is becoming more complex and challenging. Millions of businesses record conversations every day, but with the growth of VoIP, the task appears to be getting a little more complicated.

Enter VirtualLogger (News - Alert), a pioneer in call recording and quality monitoring, with its latest recording service – RecordingMagic - that promises to bring the call quality management capabilities that large call centers enjoy down to the smallest offices, very affordably.

Also, calls can be recorded even in the absence of a network tap, a dedicated server and without the use of a span session. This is rather good news as it reduces the cost and complexity of IP call recording.

"RecordingMagic lets business owners records all of their phones in all of their offices and listen from anywhere, securely and any time it suits them," said Jim Veilleux, president of VirtualLogger.

Typically, small devices are used to capture telephone signals from the telephone system and then these signals are routed into large, centralized call recorders. The end product is inexpensive, easy to install and compares very well to costlier systems.

However, as the RecordingMagic application works on the PC, these small devices are not required. The application itself captures the audio information and forwards it to the VirtualLogger RecordingMagic operations center.

This recording service apparently works with any softphone client running on a Windows PC, regardless of call control protocol or the use of encryption. It also works with PBX (News - Alert) systems and VoIP phones.

It took three years of hard work from VirtualLogger and its partner company MobileAppCorp LLC for the new recording model to take shape and become a reality.

VirtualLogger LLC claims to be the first and leading provider of contact center recording and quality monitoring on a SaaS (News - Alert) basis. Stated to have recorded more than one billion calls over 14 years and two years on the INC 500 list, VirtualLogger has a proven track record of success.
