The City of Pensacola, Fla., has selected Telrex’s (News - Alert) CallRex Call Recording software for its ShoreTel IP telephone system.
Officials with Telrex said that CallRex Call Recording software is an advanced solution for companies looking to deploy effective, efficient and affordable call recording and monitoring technology.

Working with Verteks Consulting, a Florida-based voice and data networking company, the City of Pensacola selected CallRex software for use within the city's seven contact centers.
"As we planned the telephone system for City of Pensacola, it was clear that CallRex Call Recording was an ideal solution for the project," said Don Gulling, president of Verteks Consulting, in a statement.
"CallRex Call Recording software is easy-to-use and affordable, and will help meet the City's needs for liability, quality assurance, and supervisor recording," said Gulling.
CallRex software will be used by the City of Pensacola in seven contact centers including: energy services of Pensacola, the airport, police and fire, City Hall, housing, and treasury departments.

TMCnet in January reported that Telrex, provider of the CallRex suite of IP call recording and contact center optimization solutions, has introduced version 4.0 of CallRex Call Recording software.
Officials with Telrex said that version 4.0 delivers an improved user experience, streamlined administration, expanded technology support, and enhanced security.
