Alert) India has announced its new Sage Accpac Integrated Suite with the availability of version 5.5 of its Sage Accpac ERP business management system.
The new suite configuration integrates out-of-box ERP with Sage CRM, company officials say, adding that the new Sage Accpac Integrated Suite "also provides analytical dashboards in Sage Accpac ERP 5.5 and offers a free bundled pack of Insight Business Intelligence tool."
"Sage Accpac will enhance the end user experience by introducing 'easy to use' business analytics which can transform business efficiencies," said Thomas Abraham, Managing Director, Sage Software India.
Sage officials say the suite "combines the benefits of ERP and CRM" for integrated front and back office business processes, giving users "insight into what is happening within the business and enhancing collaboration between customer-facing and back office workers."
Version 5.5's new dashboard feature provides snapshots of the business designed to help managers "analyze, predict, and manage business performance," company officials say.
In addition to dashboards, version 5.5 provides such enhancements as a new Account Rollup feature that supports account consolidation in the general ledger, multicurrency revaluation options, and streamlined processes for managing job tracking.
Earlier this month Sage Software announced the availability of the latest version of its enterprise software suite, Sage ERP X3, formerly known as Adonix X3.
The product is being released by the Sage Group in 35 countries to address companies in the enterprise manufacturing sector, including companies in the Middle East.
Marc Van der Ven, managing director, Sage Software ME, said the new release's international customer base "is the best guarantee for our customers to benefit from more and more R&D investment over the coming years. We are pleased that we can now offer such extensive automation products to our manufacturing clients in the Middle East."
The manufacturing sector is one of several major economic sectors beside construction, trading and services on which the Middle East region is counting for its drive of economic diversification.
Sage ERP X3 v5 is engineered to integrate an enterprise's information and business processes within one single software system and database.
The system manages finance, sales, inventory, CRM, purchasing and manufacturing operations globally and streamlines an enterprise's processes. The information propagates in real time to all parts of a business: an issued order has an impact on stock levels, production, accounting, and so on.
