CRM's Entellium, Boomi Announce Rave Integrate Use

By David Sims

Entellium, a vendor of on-demand customer relationship management (CRM) software aimed primarily at small businesses, and Boomi, an on-demand integration firm, have announced that Entellium is using Boomi On Demand to power Entellium's Rave Integrate service offering.

Entellium officials say the service will provide Entellium users with a set of integration capabilities "with other Software-as-a-Service and on-premise applications."

Small businesses can use Entellium's Rave Integrate service to link data between applications "without relying on the need to adopt an expensive and complex developer platform," typical with enterprise applications, company officials say.

Available this fall, what the Entelliumites are describing as "the first pre-packaged integration service offered by Entellium" will have a visual interface for users to automate routine activities between Rave CRM products and Quickbooks without the need for programming or IT support.

Paul Johnston, CEO and president of Entellium, said by teaming up with Boomi, "we are providing integration capabilities that will help them realize business benefits that come from an integrated delivery."

Additionally, Entellium will resell Boomi On Demand to customers that need integration between Rave CRM and other applications, such as enterprise resource planning systems.

Last week Entellium announced that customers can purchase Entellium's CRM product Rave directly through direct providers PC Mall and Zones.

Described by Entellium officials as a "first move into the channel," it's seen by the company as supporting "Entellium's goal of making Rave more broadly available to small business customers."

Entellium is "as committed to making the purchase process easier for our small business customers as we are to creating on-demand products," said Paul Johnston, adding that with the PC Mall and Zones partnerships, "we'll have more visibility to PC Mall and Zones' millions of customers."

With Rave now available through PC Mall and Zones, small businesses can purchase the technology products, services and products they need from a single location. Small business customers can purchase one and two year subscriptions of Rave in single user, five user and 10 user configurations.
