SIP Print Stays Ahead in Call Recording Industry

We at TMC have been hearing quite a bit from SIP Print (News - Alert) these days about how the company manages to not just stay afloat in this less-than-buoyant economy, but how it has come through with superior and refreshing product offerings. Paula Bernier for TMC (News - Alert) recently wrote about the company’s technological developments when it “released a G.722 high-definition version of their call recording solution,” as well as recently coming out “with support for the G.729 codec, which got the company into the carrier side of the business, and G.723.” Among a host of other developments, SIP Print has been inking contracts right and left as I found out a couple of weeks ago when I interviewed Don Palmer (News - Alert), CEO.

Getting into the call recording market in Asia, doing deals with Verizon, all while maintaining its reputation as the best option for small businesses, SIP Print recently added TMCnet's 2009 Communications Solutions Product of the Year Award and INTERNET TELEPHONY's 2010 TMC Labs Innovation Award to its roster of accolades. Palmer noted that it has been a fervently productive several months for the company with a host of new contracts and forthcoming product releases. He talked about the marketplace’s growing need for customizable products, and announced that SIP Print is going to offer a new call agent monitoring package.

Jonathan Fuld, CTO of SIP Print discussed the company’s ventures into HD call recording with Bernier and mentioned that HD call recording is an improvement upon standard-definition, obviously, but likened it to “the difference between living in Scottsdale and Winslow,” Arizona. Adding a multilingual feature to its software, users of SIP Print’s technology are also able to communicate in several different languages using the same product including Arabic, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and most other languages. Bernier learned from Fuld that “a user in France will see the call information in French, while her counterpart in Spain will view the same call information in Spanish from the same SIP Print appliance.”

Overall, we are still witnessing serious growth from the company. If recent interviews TMC has conducted with Palmer and Fuld divulge anything, it’s that SIP Print is still developing and harnessing its small business-geared technology to move into the global space.
