Jaduka, StrikeIron Team to Intro Voice Notification Web Service

Jaduka (News - Alert) and StrikeIron said that they have partnered to introduce Jaduka “Voice Notification”, a Web service that turns text to speech or a personalized pre-recorded message delivered to recipients’ phones programmatically.

Bob Brauer, president at StrikeIron, said that Jaduka’s sophisticated voice notification platform combined with StrikeIron’s Web services commercialization and delivery capabilities will prove to be a “powerful combination” of emerging technology. He added that this will enable a broad range of applications to easily become voice-enabled.

With this newest offering, businesses of all types and sizes can leverage proactive customer service through customized voice alerts and notifications, said company officials.

Jaduka Voice Notification will enable businesses to contact large groups where voice is one of the most effective communication mediums. Officials said that their service will allow customized messaging to be easily tailored to meet specific business requirements.

The service is available via StrikeIron’s Web Services Catalog, a data distribution engine that is said to reduce the complexity for developers and business users who want to integrate live data from any number of sources.

The catalog is built on top of a technology platform that provides a consistent interface across many XML-based Web services from multiple, diverse sources. Officials said that this allows customers and partners to customize and integrate external data sources and additional external functionality into enterprise, Web, and composite applications.

Moreover, customers who subscribe through the StrikeIron Web services Catalog also have instant access to a rich set of functionality and data. Also, officials said that customers can take advantage of flexible choices of protocols, simplified sign-on, simplified billing and accounting, pricing alternatives, and integrated tools and services.

“Jaduka is pleased to partner with StrikeIron and provide subscribers with enhanced voice services that improve business efficiency and customer response,” said Thomas Howe (News - Alert), CEO at Jaduka.

In addition to delivering shipping and payment alerts, delay and change notifications, the Web service is also ideal for marketing campaigns, appointment reminders, important school notices, emergency messages, and more.

Additionally, Jaduka Voice Notification can be used interactively or can be integrated into applications, Web sites, or business processes for automated messaging.

Currently, the Jaduka Voice Notification Web service is offered with a number of subscription plans and volume discounts.
