Calabrio Recognized As High Performer in Forrester Report
Calabrio has earned top honors in the latest Forrester Wave report.
According to Forrester Research, a tech market analytics company, Calabrio and its workforce optimization software, Calabrio One, offer customers a sense of “Minnesote nice” alongside a well-functioning suite of workforce management tools. The new report, “The Forrester Wave: Workforce Optimization Suites, Q3 2016,” recommends Calabrio as among the best in the market for its top scores in customer service, product performance and company vision for the future.
Tom Goodmanson, the president and CEO of Calabrio, commented on that vision, noting that his company has always tried to distinguish itself from the competition.
“While this industry has been around a while, Calabrio has always done things a little differently,” Goodmanson said. “It has been our vision from day one to build the best solution while exceeding customer expectations for service and support.”
“We believe this recognition from Forrester demonstrates that our continued investment in a customer-driven product roadmap.”
This success should have many at Calabrio smiling, but it does come alongside a change in guard for its employees. In a deal valued at $200 million, New York investment group KKR & Co. has purchased Calabrio for an undisclosed sum. It is unclear how much of a direct role KKR will play in the daily activities of Calabrio. Its only stated intention for this purchase is to help grow the Calabrio brand.
John Park, a director at KKR, commented:
“Calabrio has become one of the fastest-growing, quality companies in workforce optimization and customer engagement,” Park said. “With our partnership, we hope to accelerate the company’s growth even further.”
Goodmanson spoke highly of the acquisition, noting that he played an integral role in finding KKR as a company “partner.” The good sentiment all around suggests that Calabrio will continue to function largely as it always has in offering cloud-based workforce management to its business clients. Calabrio has found a boost in name recognition in the past few years, which has allowed it to capture some new high-profile clients. This pairing with KKR should allow that upward trend to continue.
