Digital South Communications & SIP Print Partner for Cloud Call Recording
Providing voice services for businesses is no easy feat. Doing so in today’s market has become an even bigger endeavor as both cloud and on-premises offerings crowd the market. One thing that a quality provider must do is stay ahead of the market and offer solutions that meet changing needs.
Over the last 25 years, Digital South Communications has provided customers across the nation with voice service, on-premise phone systems, hosted phones, IT/managed services, CCTV and Access control.
The company decided it was time to step up their offerings to meet client needs and turned to call recording provider SIP Print to label a solution that met their requirements.
I recently caught up with owner Brett Shadrick to hear more and get the low down on the company’s recent partnership with SIP Print.
Brett said the decision to move to the cloud is something he has been thinking about and researching for the last three years. He understood the advantages cloud recording would bring to the marketplace and did his due diligence to meet with over 15 companies and hear about their recording offerings.
While on-premises phone systems were a major part of the company’s business for the first 22 years, the upfront costs associated with call recording for these phone systems had just gotten to be too expensive. Now with the cloud, there is no CAPEX, you have a monthly fee and there is the mobility aspect that comes with the cloud – something that’s very important, Brett said. As long as you have a device and an Internet connection – you can get work done from anywhere.
Ultimately, the choice in SIP Print was an easy one for Brett because he said the offerings were ahead of the competition. To further that, the experience working with the teams, Brett said, from the start, included transparent communications and a clear road map for the partnership.
Now Digital South Communications can provide clients with cloud-based call recording with no upfront costs, only a monthly fee.
The response from customers has been remarkable. “Every client that we have installed has loved the product. We have a 100 percent client retention rate on this platform. It is amazing how easy it is to set-up and manage,” Brett said.
