SpeechPro, a developer of cutting-edge solutions in speech recording, processing, analysis and voice biometrics, has entered into a partnership with Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communication software and services, to offer VoiceKey through DevConnect MarketPlace.

The DevConnect Marketplace allows Avaya customers (and Avaya Connect channel partners) to discover, search and explore solutions offered by DevConnect Technology Partners.

VoiceKey, speaker recognition platform, is a unique fusion of text-dependent and text-independent voice biometrics deliverables with a flexible application platform. With over 20 years of experience in law enforcement and commercial voice biometrics SpeechPro technologies provide customers with reliable, state of the art solutions. Voice authentication VoiceKey enhances customer experience while strengthening corporate security. VoiceKey is a valuable solution for any company whose customers require secure communication with call center agents or IVRs.

VoiceKey had to go through rigorous evaluation before making it to Avaya Marketplace.

Officials with Avaya said the MarketPlace, an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology, is an engaging web portal for the promotion of verified solutions.

Company officials said that the MarketPlace is a rich marketing tool for Avaya technological partners whose production was rated Avaya compliant. SpeechPro received this acknowledgement as a participant of the Avaya DevConnect program after VoiceKey underwent extensive interoperability testing.

"SpeechPro's VoiceKey solution has undergone rigorous interoperability testing,” said Eric Rossman, vice president of developer relations for Avaya, in a statement.

Rossman said that by working with companies like SpeechPro to ensure compatibility, Avaya customers can choose from hundreds of third-party applications and deploy them with confidence.

"I am delighted that our VoiceKey voice biometrics application has been rated Avaya compliant as we can now provide Avaya customers with a choice when it comes to voice identification solutions,” said Alexey Khitrov, president, SpeechPro.

Khitrov said that VoiceKey’s flexible application platform provides organizations using Avaya Aura Experience Portal with additional options to protect their customer’s confidential information.

TMCnet in May reported that Avaya DevConnect has got a new technology partner in Fonolo.

With this new partnership, in turn, come several new opportunities, and a chance for both firms to better capitalize on each others' unique strengths and core competencies. This is the general purpose for most any partnership, but Fonolo and Avaya working together is set to offer a pair of critical key points that really drive the purpose of the partnership.

Fonolo joins Avaya's DevConnect program as a Technology Partner, which means that Fonolo gets access to several valuable services Avaya can offer.
