Vidtel (News - Alert) and BurstPoint Networks are teaming up, creating a joint offering that can help companies use video conferencing solutions from Vidtel with BurstPoint’s Video Communication Platform. Together, they will provide recording, streaming, playback, and management for one’s video communications, providing a new level of control over one’s videos.

With the Vidtel-BurstPoint offering, companies using Vidtel-powered any-to-any video conferencing solutions can integrate BurstPoint’s VCP seamlessly. The Vidtel MeetMe service, for example, is a cloud-based service that works between hardware endpoints, SIP soft clients, WebRTC-based browsers, and more, making it a perfect choice for using  it with BurstPoint’s capture and recording capabilities.

The broad and scalable capabilities from BurstPoint can take any video-based feed from any device, and enable streaming, distribution and management. While that’s quite useful for most video streams, by combining it with Vidtel’s conferencing solutions, it becomes even better. With it, users will gain new controls over their video communications through Vidtel, allowing them to record, manage, and stream the videos at their will.

"This solution is critical for companies leveraging cloud video for business-to-business collaboration," says Alex Doyle, Vidtel’s VP of marketing. "Cloud-based video conferencing, any-to-any interoperability, and WebRTC have transformed the market, allowing any size company to leverage video for B2B communication.  With that B2B focus, the ability to record and manage your conference recordings is a vital requirement, and we're delighted to showcase our joint solution with BurstPoint."

Video is big and constantly growing. So the more people use video communication, the more the need for management and control of one’s own streams is. Fortunately, BurstPoint can provide just that, and with Vidtel’s any-to-any video conferencing solutions, it’s easy to manage them. The two work together seamlessly, so video conferencing, chatting, and messaging are now better than ever.
