Social Network Audioboo Unveils New Platform
Social sound platform Audioboo is simplifying the way users send and share sound clips with the release of its new platform.
The updated platform will address the demand of consumers and help Audioboo achieve its global growth plans.
It is easy to create sound clips with Audioboo and users can share it with friends accompanied with a photograph via the web or mobile. This sound platform is very popular and has a user-base of more than 1.5 million.
Its popularity is based on its streamlined design and it is set to increase thanks to the new features added by the company. Audioboo now includes timeline and provides a more visual rundown of recent activity, favorites and popular boos or sound clips.
New features enable users to easily listen to audio and share the most popular sound clips. Users can discover new channels and quickly search for their favorite content leveraging improved channels and categories.
Other features included in social sound platform Audioboo are BooBoards and one- click sign up. While BooBoards allows users to create unlimited bespoke playlists and a one-click sign up facilitates integration with Twitter.
Audioboo is currently collaborating with established content partners and participating in global events to capture and share exclusive content.
“Since its launch in 2009, Audioboo has grown year-on-year, and the introduction of our new improved look, features and functionality marks a coming of age moment for the platform,” said Rob Proctor, Audioboo’s CEO. “We have also just announced our expansion into the US with the appointment of a managing director, so 2013 is already signaling a year of global expansion.”
Audioboo was in news last year when it partnered with UBC Media, a supplier of multimedia content to the BBC and 250 commercial radio stations.
