Organizations are adopting call recording systems for reasons including improved customer experience, regulation compliance and increased productivity. Here are the top stories in the industry this week.

Text messages and e-mails are effective and popular ways for businesses and individuals to communicate, but calling someone to say what is on your mind gives a personal touch to your message. Combining e-mails services with a telephony function can improve productivity for companies that depend on sales and service as part of their operations.

SYNETY is a cloud software business telephony specialist that helps businesses integrate telecommunications with their existing software. The company’s CloudCall suite is an integrated communications service that includes CloudCall Enterprise, CloudCall Click and CloudCall API. The suite gives businesses communications tools for a streamlined platform that is faster, richer and easier, while at the same time cost effective.

With the rising popularity of text messaging, the manner in which people communicate has changed in SayWhat. SayWhat Labs Ltd. has unveiled its smartphone app called SayWhat. Users can now uniquely send, pick or decline phone calls with the help of personal messages and emoticons using this latest app.

Although social media is the tool of choice at the moment, call centers are still an integral part of the overall operations of organizations that rely on providing customer service and feedback. OAISYS provides business voice documentation and management solution for contact centers, while Symmetrics Business Intelligence offers analysis and reporting solutions for contact centers. Their announcement for product integration will give public and private organizations a combined solution for optimizing the performance of contact centers.

A provider of electronic recording services, Simplifile recently established a new partnership with Closers' Choice, a source of closing software for title companies and law firms in the U.S. This partnership incorporates system integration, allowing all Closers' Choice customers to automatically upload and submit land record documents via Simplifile's e-recoding software to almost 800 countries worldwide.

CTI Group, an international provider of e-billing and analytics, call recording and call management solutions, has been providing telephony applications to help service providers, resellers or enterprise customers support their business. Recognizing the priority all of them place on integration, it has enhanced its Proteus range of call accounting applications by releasing a new module – PBX Control – which provides computer telephony integration between many PBX branches and the Proteus application.

Stay tuned to the call recording community each week for the latest announcements, trends, resources and news in the industry.
