OAISYS Call Recording Solutions Now Interoperable with BroadSoft BroadWorks

As a wide range of advanced telecommunications solutions and services are being made available to the enterprise and individual users, it has becoming more and more imperative that their interoperability and compliance with other solutions and platforms can be ensured to maintain a smooth and regular interconnectivity among them.

OAISYS, a provider of call recording and contact center management solutions for a wide range of organizations, has successfully tested its Tracer and Talkument call recording solutions to be complying with BroadSoft BroadWorks voice application platform recently. The voice documentation and interaction management solutions offered by OAISYS extract phone-based interactions in a digital manner to retrieve, playback and manage them for future applications; while BroadSoft provides software solutions which mobile, fixed-line and cable service providers can offer real-time communications services over their IP networks.

Though the overall market size of call recording solutions and hosted voice services has seen a rise in recent times, still a large number of hosted call recording solutions don’t offer reliable interoperability with other solutions, or lack comprehensive functional requirements in some ways. BroadWorks platform pro-actively addresses these issues and allows the service providers to deliver various business communications applications and value-added applications to their customers. Some of these offerings are hosted PBX, mobile PBX and business trunking. Further, after the new successful testing, enterprises will be able to deploy the Session Recording Protocol or ‘SIPREC’ for integrating the OAISYS Talkument and Tracer call recording solutions with the BroadWorks platform.

A large number of industry and government regulations have been compelling enterprises to emphasize upon proper documentation and archival of their phone-based communications. In order to cope with these regulations, new solutions are being rapidly launched within the market. Additionally, the contact centers have also been consistently enhancing the utilization of their call recording and quality management solutions.

In September 2012, OAISYS integrated its Talkumentand Tracer call recording solutions with Toshiba's IPedge IP business telephone system from Toshiba America Information Systems Inc.'s Telecommunication Systems Division.
