Mediahawk, a provider of call tracking software, teamed up with SEO Positive to learn how to improve its search engine optimization (SEO) and expand its customer base.

Mediahawk has been around for over 10 years and developed tracking and call recording solutions for customers, allowing companies to track the path a customer takes from their initial Internet search to when they call up a company.

“Tracking information is captured and can be integrated within your Google Analytics and CRM systems. It allows you to see how many calls and visitors are generated from keywords in Pay Per Click Advertising, organic search and referrer sites helping to define your online marketing spend,” said Mediahawk.

The tracking service, Mediahawk Vision, saves clients money by allowing them to focus in on which ads are successful and should be used for future marketing campaigns.

To expand its services, Mediahawk realized the importance of SEO tools. As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, and can even display certain search words that are preferred by a targeted audience. To improve its optimization, it hired UK-based company SEO Positive.

SEO Positive, an online promotions company, said it creates affordable SEO services that help ensure company sites get noticed online. Some of its tools include SEO Marketing, PPC Marketing, Website Usability, Copywriting and Reputation Management. To help with optimization, SEO Positive announced it would be implementing a new strategy to increase traffic to Mediahawk’s website.

“Not only does Mediahawk sit within a particularly competitive field, but they also need to demonstrate to their audience that they are in the best position to assist them with their online marketing efforts,” said David Friend, senior account manager at SEO Positive. “The best way to do this is through keeping a successful campaign of their own.”

Both companies say they have gone over keywords, campaign ideas and marketing plans. Friend, who is overseeing the new project, said after several consultations the two companies have come up with a plan of attack, which has been put into motion.
