omNovia Technologies, a company that provides webinar and webcasting solutions, recently announced an addition to its mobile app. The company has now featured its mobile app with omNovia’s Recast technology which now allows the users to replay omNovia hosted webinars at their convenience in an interactive mode.

Recording the events exactly the way it happened live, Recast technology allows users to chat, participate in polls/surveys, retrieve file attachments, share web pages and much more. Once Recast is activated, users can immediately start experiencing the Recast difference without any download. They only need to click on the record button in their omNovia room and the events will be saved for the future interactive replay sessions. Depending on the nature of the session and your target audience, the users can choose one of the three different replay options Recast offers.

“We have consistently improved our mobile app since its release in 2011 given that a significant number of our end-users follow webinars and training sessions on their mobile devices,” said Aalok Shah, director of operations at omNovia Technologies. The omNovia Mobile App provides users with a complete webinar experience that includes features such as chat, voice, live video, polling, slide shows with annotations, document sharing, desktop sharing, cobrowser and more. The recent addition of on-demand Recast is in-line with omNovia’s on-going goal to bring new and innovative features that offer a complete solution for all users in an easy-to-use interactive environment.

“As a company that specializes in interactive meetings and events, we are always seeking superior technical solutions that go beyond the traditional webinar. With omNovia, we can always count on continuous innovation and 100% reliability. We are excited that our current users and potential prospects can now participate from anywhere with the same great experience on their mobile devices during live as well as pre-recorded events,” said Michael Smith (News - Alert), president of OneCounts.
