TMCnet Call Recording Week in Review

It was a busy week in the Call Recording sector. Here are some of the major stories from TMCnet.

Twilio, which lets companies and Web services add voice or SMS to their options, will now offer access to a VoIP service. Twilio (News - Alert) lets developers use IP communications as well as traditional phone and mobile networks. Twilio previously leveraged the power of hooking into the old copper-based phone system.

Primus Telecommunications Canada is now offering a Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP) Trunking service for the small and medium business (SMB) market in Canada. The cloud-based VoIP service, offered through Primus Canada Business Services, is an economical alternative for business customers who want a flexible, reliable and fully scalable service, company officials said.

In another story, Vodafone Iceland has selected a hosted call recording solution from CTI (News - Alert) Group, a developer of telecommunications solutions for fixed, mobile and converged communications. CTI’s SmartRecord carrier-grade call recording solution will let Vodafone Iceland record telephone conversations on its BroadSoft (News - Alert) BroadWorks voice platform.

In addition, ASC has implemented its Marathon Evolution communications recording solution into Medway On Call Care’s (MedOCC) healthcare environment.

MedOCC is an urgent care service provided by Medway Community Healthcare in Southeast England. It provides support for 280,000 service users in the Medway area.

And StayinFront has partnered with AdvantageMS to provide a new system to let biopharma sales reps get accurate data on medical professionals before speaking with them. The new service will improve the competitiveness of biopharma field reps conducting business with medical professionals. StayinFront is a CRM software vendor and provider of mobile sales force management solutions.
