Alcatel-Lucent appoints Jean Raby as Chief Financial & Legal Officer

Alcatel-Lucent today announced theappointment of Jean Raby as Chief Financial & LegalOfficer, effective September 1, 2013. Jean Raby will relocateto Alcatel-Lucent's headquarters in .
Jean Raby served as a Partner and Managing Director in the InvestmentBanking Division at Goldman Sachs until the end of 2012. In thisposition, he built relationships and provided strategic and corporatefinance advice to clients across multiple industry sectors, including intelecom and information technologies. Previously, he worked as anassociate attorney with Sullivan & Cromwell from 1989 to 1996. JeanRaby was born and raised in Canada. He holds a LLB from theUniversite Laval in Quebec City, a MPhil in International Relations fromthe University of Cambridge in the UK and a LLM from the Harvard Law School.He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1988.
